Sasha’s Artistic Mission Statement:

I am passionate about the intersection of musical theatre and social justice. I am passionate about the power to persuade that comes with the theatrical platform, and leveraging that power to heal the world. Musical theatre truly allows us to illuminate social and political topics in ways that words or music alone cannot match. It inspires me to know that I can raise my voice in support of issues that I feel are important, using theatre to pursue social justice. My greatest career goal is to continue to learn, improving my technique and artistic flair so that I can eventually have the privilege to reach bigger stages and larger audiences. I intend to use that stage and my love for the arts to highlight truths about humanity and social justice and persuade audiences to think more carefully about their own role in society. My responsibility as a human is to continue to contribute to a robust, diverse, and dynamic dialogue regarding these critical social issues, and it is also my responsibility to do this in a way that is inclusive and respectful of all while at the same time, impactful.
